While a lot has changed and we exchange smiles and updates through masks and face shields, one thing remains the same - our care for you and our commitment to your health and safety.
What are we doing?
In addition to the general safety and disinfection protocols that we otherwise follow, you will see changes which include:
- Full personal protective equipment (PPE) for our team which includes masks, respirators, face shields and full length protective gowns.
- Staggered patient scheduling to minimize number of people in the clinic.
- Daily screening of team members to ensure they are healthy to see you.
- Complete disinfection of the operatory and dental chair after each use.
- Frequent “disinfecting sweeps” of all door handles, chairs, restrooms and other patient contact surfaces.
- Magazines and other reading material removed from the reception area.
What should you do?
- Please wear your face mask at all times except during treatment.
- Please limit any personal belongings that you bring inside the clinic.
- Only patients with appointments and one guardian will be permitted inside the clinic.
- Please remember to practice social distancing.
- Please allow us time for enhanced disinfection of the operatory between appointments.
Upon entry you will
- Sanitize your hands.
- Allow temperature and blood oxygen saturation checks.
- Answer basic screening questions related to Covid-19 and sign a consent form.
- Complete a cleansing mouth rinse to prepare you for your appointment.
We request you to reschedule if you are feeling unwell or have had recent contact with someone who has been unwell in the past 2 weeks.
